Requirements

• Education: Masters/Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Risk Management, Economics, IT, or related field.
• Experience: 08-10 years of experience in ERM, operational risk, technology risk, preferably in banking, payments, fintech, or financial infrastructure.
• Certification: Related to Risk Management will be preferred.
• Department: Risk & Information Security
• Location: Karachi, Pakistan

JOB ROLE & REQUIREMENTS:

• Implement the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework, and maintain it in accordance with regulatory expectations and industry best practices
• Assist in the creation of risk policies, procedures, and statements of risk appetite along with their regular updates
• Carry out risk assessments regularly (RCSA) to recognize and rate the principal risks
• Keep a check on potential risky areas, key risk indicators particularly in digital payments, switches, card schemes, cybersecurity, and the
• infrastructures of the financial industry
• Hold incident reviews, root cause analysis (RCA), and monitor the execution of remediation plans
• Assess the risks posed by third-party or vendor and apply the proper risk mitigation and monitoring measures
• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual risk reports for senior management and board committees
• Organize risk awareness sessions and training for employees as a way to promote a strong risk culture
• Assist different departments in the implementation of risk-oriented thinking and incorporation of controls into their processes and systems and also suggest risk mitigation measures and control optimization
