Business Development Executive – Freight Forwarding Division:
Being a Business Development Executive in the Freight Forwarding Department means that you have the responsibility of bringing in new business and steering the company’s logistics operations to higher profit levels. You will deal with clients in various sectors and will be promoting the company’s sea, air, and land freight services to them. The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge of international freight forwarding processes, pricing strategies, and global trade documentation, as well as the right attitude of strong client relationship building.
Client Prospecting and Relationship Building:
You will actively identify and approach potential customers through market research, networking, and business outreach. Your ability to understand client requirements and offer tailored freight solutions will be key to your success. Building and maintaining long-term business relationships with both new and existing clients will ensure sustained revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
Sales Development and Target Achievement:
You will be responsible for achieving monthly and quarterly sales targets by promoting the company’s freight forwarding services. This includes preparing customized quotations, responding to RFQs, and negotiating competitive pricing with clients. Your goal will be to maximize profitability while ensuring that customer expectations are consistently exceeded.
Operational Collaboration:
Working closely with the operations and documentation teams, you will ensure smooth execution of shipments, accurate preparation of export/import documentation, and timely delivery of cargo. Your coordination with airlines, shipping lines, and transport providers will help maintain efficiency throughout the supply chain.
Market Analysis and Strategic
Planning: You will stay updated with logistics trends, competitor movements, and market developments to identify new trade opportunities. By providing management with insights and recommendations, you will help shape strategic sales initiatives that align with company goals. Your proactive approach will support the company’s mission to expand its footprint in key markets.
Customer Service and After-Sales Support:
Ensuring client satisfaction doesn’t end after closing a deal. You will follow up on shipments, resolve customer queries, and provide post-sale assistance to build trust and loyalty. A client-focused mindset, combined with strong communication skills, will be essential for maintaining the company’s reputation for service excellence.
