Purchase Officer – Supply Chain
LOCATION:Â DR. ZIAUDDIN HOSPITAL, HEAD OFFICE NORTH NAZIMABAD CAMPUS
JOB SUMMARY: It is the Purchaser who has to take care of the procurement of medical, non-medical, and general supplies. The position also guarantees the timely delivery of materials of high quality at the lowest prices. Functions that go with the position are managing vendors, bargaining, processing purchase orders, and working closely with various departments to supply their needs for operations and at the same time, compliance with hospital procurement policies is made.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Procurement of medical, non-medical, and general supplies will be handled by the team.
- Quality goods at competitive prices will be ensured to be available on time.
- Purchase requisitions will be processed and the vendor database maintained.
- Departmental communication will be done to clarify specifications and budgets.
- Supplier relationships will be managed and performance issues resolved.
- Accurate purchase records will be maintained and compliance with policies ensured.
- Deliveries will be monitored and continuous supply ensured.
KNOWLEDGE & COMPETENCES:
- You possess an extensive understanding of the entire procurement process and ERP solutions.
- Not only are you fluent in negotiation and communication, but also very pleasant and nice to work with.
- A person who can handle the job under pressure while simultaneously doing several tasks.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Have great result orientation combined with strong planning and coordination abilities.
REQUIREMENTS:
A Academic Qualification: At least Intermediate / Graduate.
B Work Experience: 2–3 years in procurement or supply chain.
