Itel Home hiring Retail Operation Manager-Nigeria,Africa.
Job Summary:
Our search is for a Retail Operations Manager who is highly proactive and focused on results. The daily operational management of an itel Home brand store will be under your complete control, and this includes managing the team, monitoring sales performance, controlling inventory, ensuring good customer service, and maintaining the store’s good appearance.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Performance Management:
Create and implement monthly/quarterly sales plans, set sales targets for the team and individuals, and monitor the progress to guarantee fulfillment of the set goals.
Steadily investigate and report the key performance indicators (KPIs), which include among others the sales data, the customer traffic, and the conversion rates in order to point out the problem areas and to suggest the most effective improvement methods and sales promotions.
Constantly keep a close eye on the trends in the market as well as the competitors and give regional management timely reports and suggestions.
Team Building & Management:
Store personnel management: hiring, training, performance appraisal, and scheduling are the areas the store staff will fall under in the process of building the most competent and service-conscious sales team.
Daily coaching, motivation, and regular team meetings will encourage the team, create unity, improve sales and transform their capabilities.
Create and maintain a positive and healthy atmosphere at work, manage employee relations, and keep the team stable.
Store Operations & Standard Implementation:
Exercise control over the daily execution of the store operational procedures, such as opening/closing, cashiering, stocktaking, and shift handover, and ensure that all the operations are smooth and correct.
The company’s Visual Merchandising (VM) standards will be rigorously applied so that product displays are attractive, neat, and properly supplied, and the store atmosphere is hygienic, lighted, and in line with the brand image.
Take charge of the store inventory, which includes delivery, checking, counting, moving, and maintaining safety stock levels, to keep stock records accurately and curb losses.
Properly securing and maintaining all the store assets (e.g., equipment, fixtures, cash) is a must.
Customer Service & Experience:
Setting and upholding outstanding customer service standards
Proper handling of customer complaints and after-sales issues
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education: Associate degree or higher; degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is considered a plus.
Experience: At least 5 to 7 years of experience in retail store management, consumer electronics, smart home, home appliances, or mobile phone chain stores.
Sales Acumen: Excellent sales skills and a data-oriented mentality, with the capability of interpreting sales data for decision-making.
Communication: Super interpersonal, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
