Assistant Manager – Stitching Planning (Home Textile-Knits)
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and keep an eye on weekly stitching schedules (cut to pack)
- Guarantee loading of lines in an efficient manner according to customer priorities and timelines
- Keep a check on orders, spot delays, and work together with the necessary departments
- Manage WIP at every point of the process to prevent bottlenecks
- Work together with cutting, stitching, QA, and packing crews for uninterrupted flow
- Join forces with IE to equalize lines and raise production
- Work hand in hand with merchandising, fabric, and trims teams to get materials ready
- Assess stitching performance and make sure deliveries are on time
Education: Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field
Experience: 3–5 years’ experience in stitching/production planning in textile/apparel manufacturing
Skills:
- Skilled in using MS Excel, ERP, and planning applications
- In-depth understanding of home textile processes (cutting to packing)
- Great communication, coordination, and problem-solving abilities
Location: S.I.T.E Area, Karachi
