EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field from a reputable institution.

EXPERIENCE

  • At least 5 years of experience in:
    • Investment banking or equity research
    • Transaction advisory or corporate finance
    • Strategy roles in corporates

LOCATION

  • Lahore, Pakistan

SKILLS

  • Advanced financial modeling and valuation
  • Strategy development and structured problem-solving
  • Exceptional PowerPoint and corporate executive communication skills
  • Data-driven research and analytical rigor
  • Ability to work with senior leadership under tight timelines
  • High ownership, confidentiality, and business maturity

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To locate trends, opportunities, and possible threats, it is necessary to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and industry benchmarking.
  • The current strategies effectiveness should be determined through business performance data analysis, which should also indicate the changes required.
  • Financial models and forecasts should be created in order to support the case of business planning and strategic decision-making.
  • The top management and stakeholders should be given detailed reports, strategic presentations, and dashboards.
  • Involvement in the formulation and implementation of business strategies should be both short- and long-term.

EDUCATION

  • B.Com, M.Com, ICMA (Part) or equivalent certification in finance/accounting.

EXPERIENCE

  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the logistics sector.

  • Wonderful administrative and communication abilities.

     

  • Capability to organize and scrutinize and to look after the minutiae.

     

  • Familiarity with the financial measures and practices.

     

  • General ledger management, computer skills, accounting skills, accounting techniques, budgeting skills, cash flow management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Daily transaction records will be managed according to the data existing in the central database (Google Sheet).
  • Trip cost and profit analysis will be updated on a daily basis.
  • Climax will be updated with the trip record to generate the system trip number and P&L.
  • Accounts payable/receivable will be managed for customers as well as for vendors.
  • PODs (Proof of Delivery) will be reconciled as the second line of verification before invoices are printed.
  • Invoices will be generated and tax deductions (GST/WHT) and compliance will be handled.
  • Ledgers will be reconciled and monthly financial analysis will be reported.
