Position Overview:

AlRajhi Building and Construction is in search of an experienced Surveying Engineer to be part of our expanding team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The perfect person will be responsible for the accuracy and precision of all the surveying operations that are supporting the development of big infrastructure and commercial projects. The job demands technical skills, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to handle survey data properly for the successful execution of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

The Surveying Engineer will perform land, topographic, and boundary surveys, prepare maps and layouts, and verify design coordinates. They will collaborate with civil engineers, architects, and site supervisors to provide precise data and assist in resolving design discrepancies. The role also involves preparing survey reports, maintaining digital data records, and ensuring that all work aligns with project and safety standards.

Technical Expertise:

The ideal candidate must be proficient in using Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D software to collect and process accurate geospatial data. Experience in preparing as-built drawings, performing layout verifications, and understanding coordinate systems is essential. The role requires the ability to analyze survey data, generate detailed reports, and provide insights that support design and construction teams.

Project Coordination:

The Surveying Engineer will coordinate closely with on-site and off-site teams to ensure seamless data flow and alignment with engineering designs. They will verify subcontractor work, oversee layout implementations, and maintain up-to-date survey documentation. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential to manage multiple project activities simultaneously while ensuring deadlines are met.

Leadership and Communication:

The selected candidate must demonstrate excellent communication and leadership abilities. They will present survey findings to project stakeholders, resolve technical issues during fieldwork, and ensure clear coordination between departments. A proactive attitude and commitment to maintaining accuracy and integrity are vital for this position.
