Responsibilities:

• Estimate and predict the cost of materials needed for different construction projects.
• Prepare and control tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities (BOQs), and other related documentation.
• Create Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs), doing so by making the right choice of construction materials on strength and suitability.
• Prepare shop drawings and bar bending schedules (BBS) for the construction of the structural activities.
• Carry out rate analysis for non-BOQ items which will help in developing an accurate cost plan.
• Participate in the handling of escalation claims and variation orders, and collaboration with architects, engineers, and other professional staff.
• Prepare and manage work orders/agreements for subcontractors and check their billing.
• Conduct cost analysis and suggest value engineering techniques in order to reduce the project cost.
• Assess properties for their current conditions and give your professional opinion.
• Work with computer-aided design (CAD) software for the purpose of making simulations and technical planning.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the management.
