📍 36.5 MW Coal-Fired Power Plant | Lahore
Mughal Energy Limited is seeking a high-performing Plant Performance Engineer to strengthen our thermodynamic performance, operational analytics, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
✔ Keeping track of KPIs: heat rate, efficiency, fuel consumption, emissions, auxiliary load
✔ Performing an analysis of the boiler, turbine, and BOP performance and removing the efficiency gaps
✔ Constructing dashboards, models, and benchmarking tools
✔ Conduct leading RCA for recurring performance issues
✔ Inducing heat-rate optimization and cost-saving projects
✔ Giving support for operational transitions (start-up, shutdown, load changes)
✔ Writing technical reports and making presentations to management
✔ Watching emissions and helping with environmental compliance
Requirements:
🎓 A degree in Mechanical/Electrical/Thermal Engineering
⚙️ A background in performance of thermal/coal power plants
📊 Excellent skills in thermodynamics and analysis
💡 Familiarity with DCS/SCADA and performance tools
