We’re Hiring: Lab Technician

Key Responsibilities:

Fabric/garment testing for physical, chemical, mechanical, and color fastness will be receiving, logging, and preparing samples.
Textile and garment testing will be conducted according to the ISO, AATCC, ASTM, EN and customer-specific standards.
All test results will receive accuracy and reliability and maintain compliance through proper adherence to internal SOPs.
The recording process for test data will be accurate while reports will be complete and all non-conformances and deviations will be identified.
The laboratory equipment will undergo regular maintenance through servicing and calibration procedures.
The laboratory will maintain a safe environment that follows hygiene standards and regulatory requirements while supporting both internal and external audit processes.
Testing methods and equipment utilization will have process improvements suggested.
SOPs will be updated and training materials developed for continuous improvement with one’s assistance.

Qualifications & Experience:

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Chemistry, or any other related field.
A experience of 1 to 3 years in a laboratory for textile or garment testing (also fresh graduates having excellent technical knowledge can apply).
Knowledge of international testing standards like ISO, ASTM, AATCC, and EN is a must.
Experience with testing equipment for textiles or garments will be an added advantage.
Meticulous, with a good ability to analyze and dedicated to quality.
