The senior position paves the way for industry veterans to take charge of the entire production planning operations in high-volume denim manufacturing set up in Karachi.

Position: Manager – Production Planning

The person chosen for this position will be in charge of managing the entire production planning process that encompasses effective use of capacity, setting up orders and the overall optimization of workflows. He/she will have to work hand in hand with the merchandising, production, washing, and sourcing department in order to achieve prompt delivery, line loading that does not overburden the line, and a smooth flow of work-in-progress (WIP) across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute production plans to meet delivery targets while optimizing resource utilization

• Monitor and manage line capacity and identify potential bottlenecks to maintain smooth workflow

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including merchandising, production, washing, and sourcing for effective scheduling

• Track and analyze KPI performance to identify areas for efficiency improvement

• Utilize ERP systems and MS Excel for production planning, forecasting, and reporting

• Implement best practices to improve operational efficiency and reduce delays in production

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or Industrial Engineering
