Job Overview:

It will be the Finance Manager’s responsibility to oversee and support the financial activities of the company in the areas of planning, budgeting, cost control, and compliance while at the same time offering senior management the necessary strategic financial insights. The person who gets this job will not only be accountable for precise financial reporting but also for the development of internal controls and the facilitation of sustainable business growth across different retail outlets.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts along with detailed profitability analysis to support management decision-making.

• Review sales performance, cost structures, and variances, and provide actionable financial insights to management.

• Lead the annual budgeting process and continuously monitor food costs, labor expenses, and store-level operational costs.

• Identify, recommend, and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve overall profitability.

• Prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards and manage external audit processes.

• Compile and analyze monthly profit and loss (P&L) statements for all store locations and closely monitor daily cash flows.

• Review bank reconciliations, oversee vendor payments, and ensure accurate and timely financial transactions.

• Manage payroll coordination, monitor inventory-related expenses, and enhance internal financial controls across the organization.

• Ensure full compliance with Sales Tax, Income Tax, and Withholding Tax (WHT) regulations.

• Identify and minimize financial leakages, pilferage, and overall financial risks within the business.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements:

• Professional Qualification: ACMA, ACA, ACCA, or CIMA

• Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in retail, FMCG, QSR, or franchise-based organizations

• Strong expertise in profit and loss management, cost control, taxation, IFRS reporting, and audit handling

• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4 HANA and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly
