Job Summary:
The PR & Content Strategy Manager will be responsible for the complete and comprehensive controlling of itel Pakistan’s brand image, reputation, and overall communication through one strategy. In other words, the person in this position will have the duty to both come up with very attractive PR, and to make a point of having a very strategic content communication plan that will be able to convey product knowledge to consumers in terms of value. The position calls for the combination of an in-depth thinking process, great partnership with media and influencers, and practical content and campaign execution to lead to a favorable perception of the brand and increased market visibility in Pakistan.
Core Responsibilities:
- Brand & Communications: Devise and put into action PR tactics that will assure a uniform and uplifting brand image and story through all the media assets.
- Strategy & Content: Take the lead in the content generation and strategy for balanced social media and PR campaigns, and oversee the entire process of content creation.
- Media & Agency Management: Build and maintain very good relationships with the different publications and media outlets, and then work on a very good coordination with the PR agencies’ functions.
- Influencer Engagement: Create and enact strategies for engaging the right influencers, KOLs, and media to make a lot of noise in a positive way and get good coverage.
- Reputation & CSR: Assess and take care of the brand’s reputation health (including crisis management) on a constant basis, and work together with CSR projects to show the company’s loyalty to the community.
- Reporting: Keep track of and rate the PR campaigns’ performance.
Qualifications & Skills:
- The position requires a candidate who holds at least a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Media.
- The candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in PR and communication roles specifically from the mobile and telecom sectors or fast-paced consumer electronics industry in Pakistan.
- The candidate needs to demonstrate strong abilities in strategic planning and creative thinking and problem-solving.
- The candidate needs to demonstrate exceptional written and verbal communication abilities in English and Urdu languages.
- The candidate needs to demonstrate skills for handling PR agencies and external vendor management.
- The candidate needs to demonstrate ability to handle high pressure work while handling multiple projects at once.
