We are hiring Textile Designer!
Sefam is on the lookout for a textile designer who is both creative and skilled to become a part of our team. The perfect applicant must be very competent in textile design and possess a thorough knowledge of both traditional and modern techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
-Develop new fabric patterns that will be in sync with the brand’s style and seasonal trends
-Create and carry out oh-so-artistic designs that incorporate hand embroidery, hand stitching and hand painting
–Work very closely with design, production, and merchandising departments to ensure the design is feasible
-Research and collect materials on trends, color palettes, fabrics and surface design techniques
-Create design sheets, swatches, and artworks for sampling and production
-Maintain high standards of quality and detailing throughout the process
Requirements:
-Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design or a related field
-3–5 years of relevant experience in textile design
-Expertise in hand embroidery, hand stitching, and hand painting with a strong emphasis
-Good grasp of fabrics, textures, and surface development
-Innovative thinker with meticulousness
-Capacity to adapt to a fast-moving environment and comply with time limits.
