Position Overview:

The Catering Line Manager’s role is absolutely essential in making it possible and fast the smooth functioning of all events and catering activities. The position requires a person with excellent leadership capacities who will handle staff, organize food making and keep the service at the highest level. The perfect person will have a very good knowledge of catering operations, event management, and customer satisfaction in order to provide excellent results every time.

Key Responsibilities:

The Catering Line Manager will oversee all aspects of catering services, including menu planning, logistics, food preparation, and presentation. They will ensure all events meet client expectations while maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards. Responsibilities also include staff scheduling, supervision of kitchen and service teams, and ensuring smooth coordination between departments to guarantee timely service delivery.

Operational Excellence:

The selected candidate will develop and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency. This includes monitoring inventory, controlling costs, and maintaining consistency in food quality and service. The Catering Line Manager will be expected to conduct quality checks during events, identify areas of improvement, and take proactive measures to ensure each function runs perfectly.

Leadership and Team Management:

This role requires strong leadership abilities to inspire, train, and guide the catering team. The manager will be responsible for developing staff performance, fostering teamwork, and ensuring that all employees adhere to company standards and policies. A successful leader will create a positive work environment that encourages growth, responsibility, and accountability.

Client and Vendor Relations:

Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers will be essential. The Catering Line Manager will communicate with clients to understand their event needs, customize menus, and ensure a seamless catering experience. Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients and materials will also be a key part of this role.

Health, Safety, and Compliance:

The candidate must ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace safety regulations. They will be responsible for conducting inspections, training staff on safety procedures, and maintaining proper documentation. The manager will ensure that all catering operations meet both company policies and UAE regulatory standards.
