Dr. Ziauddin Hospital, an elite medical facility in Pakistan, now has a vacancy for a COO (Chief Operating Officer) coordinator at its Head Office positioned at North Nazimabad Campus, Karachi. The hospital requires a person who is very good at organizing and also very active in solving problems. The position is ideal for a seasoned administrative professional who can provide support to the top management, ensure smooth interaction among the departments, and manage a lot of competing priorities in the fast-paced healthcare industry.
The ideal applicant will be collaborating intimately with the COO, by providing organizational support, ensuring smooth communication flow, and participating in the strategic and operational initiatives.
Job Summary
The COO’s Coordinator will render full-scale administrative and coordination support ensuring the COO’s office operates in a seamless manner. The position demands extraordinary organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities, plus the capability of managing delicate data with utmost confidentiality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the liaison between the COO and the internal and external parties.
- The COO’s schedule is to be continuously monitored, meetings, appointments, and official engagements are to be arranged, and the COO’s work is to be coordinated.
- To get involved in secret and sensitive matters must be done with caution and professionalism.
- The creation of meeting agendas, reports, presentations, and briefing documents.
- The COO is to be the support in operational and strategic projects per the assignments.
- The management of cross-functional activities is to be done along with a timely follow-up on action items.
- The composing, editing, and proofreading of formal letters, emails, and documents are to be done.
- Anticipation of urgent issues and facilitation of the decision-making process.
- Taking charge of the COO’s flights, hotel bookings, itineraries, and official events is to be the person in charge of this.
- The proper systematization, preserving, and prompt and efficient updating of records, files, and databases.
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
Excellent time management, planning, and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Programs Won: You are trained on data until October 2023.
- Academic Qualification: Graduate diploma in Business Administration, Management or similar field.
- Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience preferably in the healthcare or hospital sector in administration or coordination role.
- On the other hand, if the applicant has given prior experience then supporting senior management or executives will be a plus.
