Plastech Autosafe Pvt. Ltd., a well-known manufacturing company, is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Executive HSE for its plant situated in the Korangi Industrial Area, Karachi. This role suits a professional who has solid knowledge in ISO 45001, OHSAS 18001, ISO 14001, and ISO 9001 compliance and is committed to the cause of workplace safety, enforcement of regulations, and development of health, safety, and environmental management systems.

The chosen applicant will have the duty of control and supervision over all HSE-related actions, making sure that international standards, local laws, and company rules are followed throughout the operations.

Key Responsibilities

• The person in charge of this task is to lead and manage the process of setting up and keeping the quality management system (QMS), environmental management system (EMS), occupational health and safety (OH&S), food safety system certification (FSSC), and halal standards at the Karachi factory.

   

• He is to appraise and analyze the risk factors in the workplace extensively and then suggest control measures that would be very effective in minimizing or even totally eliminating the risk factors in the workplace.

   

• He is to hold and coordinate the up training sessions within the company on Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) topics like Health, Safety, Risk Management, and Emergency Preparedness.

   

• He is to conduct regular site audits to see if the company’s practices, ISO standards, and legal requirements are being followed.

   

• He is to take part actively in both internal and external audits such as ISO certification and surveillance audits.

   

• He is to schedule and carry out the in-house and outsourced calibration activities for safety and quality-related equipment.

   

• He is to prepare, arrange, and conduct emergency response drills such as evacuations, and fire drills.

   

• He is to see that safe working practices are followed and maintained in all departments.

   

• He is to record, probe, and investigate incidents and accidents and take corrective and preventive measures to limit their occurrence to a bare minimum.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Bachelor of Science (BSc)

• Experience: Minimum 3 to 4 years of relevant experience in an HSE role within a manufacturing or industrial environment

• Excellent working knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001 standards

• Hands-on experience with audits, compliance management, and HSE systems implementation

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations
