Punjab Launches Major Teacher Verification Program With Official Licenses

Starting November 2025, the Punjab Education, Curriculum, Training & Assessment Authority (PECTAA) will roll out a new Teachers Verification Program across the province. The goal? Make sure every teacher in public and private schools actually has the right qualifications and credentials.

It kicks off with a big push to collect data and check documents. Teachers all over Punjab need to upload scanned copies of their academic, professional, and ID documents on the official online portal.

PECTAA wants to build a digital database of verified teachers using this process. With it, they can plan better for the future—think smarter education strategies, more focused training, and stronger policy decisions. Plus, it makes it a lot easier to spot people working with fake degrees or without the right qualifications.
