Position Title

🔹 Miscellaneous Insurance Underwriter
📍 Job Location: Karachi – Head Office

Job Responsibilities

Overseeing the underwriting operational activities of property and casualty insurance products, but not limited to:

• Overseeing the entire underwriting process for miscellaneous/general insurance portfolios.

   

• Risk evaluation, analysis, and assessment of insurance applications.

   

• Company-wide compliance with underwriting policies, guidelines, and procedures is the main concern.

   

• Working together with the sales, claims, and other internal departments to make underwriting processes efficient and hassle-free.

   

• Assistance to portfolio management, risk control, and underwriting-related administrative operations.

Eligibility Criteria

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree from an HEC-recognized university

• Preference will be given to candidates holding BBA or MBA degrees

Experience:

• 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in miscellaneous/general insurance underwriting

• Strong understanding of underwriting principles and insurance products

Required Skills

• Powerful abilities in analysis, communication, and making decisions.

   

• Possibility of working indefinitely alone or a little in a team.

   

• Acquaintance with normal computer software and office applications.
