Position

IT Support Specialist

Job Location

[City – e.g., Karachi / Lahore / Islamabad]

Key Responsibilities

• In the case of hardware, software, and peripherals, support is accessible both on the site and remotely.

   

• The devices which are to be troubleshot and resolved include desktops, laptops, printers, POS devices, and other office equipment.

   

• According to the need, operating systems, applications, and drivers will be installed, configured, updated, and repaired.

   

• All the user accounts will be managed, basic Active Directory tasks will be performed, and access provisioning will be supported as well.

   

• The incidents and service requests will be recorded, monitored, and through the ticketing system, escalated.

   

• The knowledge base documentation and standard operating procedures (SOPs) will be carried out and updated.

   

• IT solutions will be provided on time with the best customer service and user guidance.

   

• Basic network troubleshooting support will also be provided, along with switches, routers, Wi-Fi, and VPN setups.

Requirements

• 0-3 years of IT support experience in office or FMCG sector is a must for this position.

   

• The candidate must have at least a diploma or degree in computer science, IT or a related field.

   

• Certifications like CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or Cisco can be an advantage.

   

• The candidate should have a mastery and in-depth understanding of Windows and macOS, Microsoft Office, printers, basics of networking, and remote support tools.

   

• In addition, superb communicating, problem-solving and ability to create a professional, proactive attitude are the requirements along with the above-mentioned ones.
