The chosen individuals will take care of the New-to-Bank (NTB) and Existing-to-Bank (ETB) SME relationships and will also be responsible for revenue generation and portfolio expansion. A range of SME customers to interact with and a chance to be a part of a performance-focused banking setting are the benefits of this role.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Team Lead / Unit Head in overseeing the SME portfolios, which consist of the NTB and ETB clients, in the Karachi branch/network.

   

• Establish and preserve solid ties with SME customers to promote business growth and long-term profit.

   

• Recognize, obtain, and bring new SME clients while managing current relationships in a professional manner.

   

• Make sure that assigned business goals concerning deposits, advances, and cross-selling are met.

   

• Evaluate customers’ financial requirements and recommend appropriate credit facilities and limits according to bank standards.

   

• Formulate and realize cross-selling opportunities across banking products and services to improve revenue.

   

• Follow internal policies, SBP regulations, and SME banking guidelines.

   

• Keep precise documentation and reporting as per bank and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess financial statements and evaluate customer creditworthiness

• Sound understanding of State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) schemes and financing options for the SME sector

• Hands-on experience in MS Office and familiarity with banking systems, products, and services

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience: 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in SME banking within a commercial bank

• Proven exposure to SME relationship management, credit assessment, and portfolio handling

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s degree will be an added advantage)
