This strategic position perfectly suits persons with rich sales and marketing experience, who are able to support the long-term increasing sales, profit, and market share in the category.
Job Objective:
The main goal of this position is to create and manage with the help of the business, the Category and Sub-Category agenda by revealing shopper insights and employing category dynamics that will lead to sustainable growth and enhance market competition.
Key Job Responsibilities:

Create thorough Category Strategy reports relying on consumer satisfaction and category movements, together with the category definitions, channels development potential, focused channels, significant opportunities, point-of-sale (POS) tactics, and an unambiguous view of success.

Design and execute a shopper excellence program comprising a mix of non-structured disseminating and structured committing for the particular category, thus attaining the status of an authority in the fields of consumer behavior, category knowledge, and market information through both formal studies and in-store shopper immersions in all priority channels.

Spotlight and prioritize the channels specific to each category or sub-category, and then work hand in hand with the Sales division to put forward personalized plans for Category Channels that will be in sync with the overall market strategy.

Actively contribute to the Commercial Planning process by identifying key category opportunities and proposing actionable plans to capitalize on them.

Recommend clear and effective promotional guidelines based on in-depth shopper understanding and current market conditions, ensuring that all promotional investments are reviewed, evaluated, and optimized for maximum return.

Develop and recommend winning commercial propositions for the category or sub-category and effectively communicate these strategies to customers, field sales managers, and internal stakeholders.
Eligibility Criteria & Key Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 5 years of commercial experience in Sales and/or Marketing roles

Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline

Strong understanding of customer behavior, selling processes, and key business functions

Ability to analyze market data, develop strategic insights, and translate them into actionable plans

Excellent communication, presentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills
