Job Overview: The position takes care of and controls Work-In-Process (WIP) throughout all cutting intervals with the aim of getting the whole process right in terms of fabric use, of giving fabrics on time, and of having no interruptions in the movement of the fabric through sewing and other downstream departments. The position entails keeping up with the cutting status, monitoring daily cut quantities, maintaining the equilibrium between input and output, and making sure that every cut bundle has been marked, stored and issued in accordance with production plans.
Essential Requirements:
- Minimum Education:
- Minimum Experience: 5–7 Years (Denim Garments Preferred).
Core Competencies:
Confirm marker plans, cut ratios, shade bands and shrinkage status prior to release of cut panels.
Keep records of WIP and cut components tracking updated and precise.
Assess shortages and signal delays for the purpose of uninterrupted workflow.
Work together with cutting, planning, warehouse, and sewing departments to eliminate bottlenecks.
Assure proper issuance on FIFO basis and good handling, tagging, and storage of bundles.
