Momentum Logistics, a known and rapidly expanding logistics and transportation company, is searching for a qualified and experienced Operations Supervisor to become part of its operations team in Karachi. This position is perfect for those having a solid background in the local transportation markets, vehicle sourcing, and vendor management especially in the port-related logistics operations.

An Operations Supervisor is going to be taking charge of transportation activities on a daily basis, establishing good rapport with transporters and brokers, as well as making sure that there is a good coordination among drivers, vendors, and internal teams.

The person we are looking for should possess a comprehensive knowledge of the sales and marketing aspect of the logistics industry, coupled with a very good understanding of the transportation operations from the ports in Karachi.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key transporters to achieve daily operational targets

• Identify, evaluate, and induct new vendors with owned fleets to build a reliable transporter pool

• Manage and maintain vendor ledgers related to order execution and share daily ledger updates with the Operations Lead

• Issue bilties and seals to drivers and ensure timely collection of Proof of Delivery (POD) when required

• Liaise regularly with drivers and monitor vehicle movements

• Provide daily vehicle status updates and operational reports to the Operations Lead

• Coordinate effectively to ensure timely and secure transportation from Karachi ports

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree (mandatory)

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in the local market, including vehicle sourcing, transportation marketing, and coordination with asset owners and reliable brokers

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of transportation operations from Karachi Ports

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage transporters, fleet owners, and brokers

• Proven sales and marketing experience within the logistics or transportation sector

• Strong coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
